CHERRY STREET BOOKS

Cherry Street Books will host two author events in March.  The first is Thursday March 15th.  Connie Stoltz-MacDonald, former Alex resident and now an Integrative Nutrition / Certified Health Coach, has a book called Healthy Lifestyle.    She will offer a mini-seminar based on her book from 5 – 7 PM and will be open to your questions.  Stop in any time and see what tips she can offer that will enhance your health and life!  You do not need to be here for the entire two hour time, but are welcome whenever you can stop in.

Saturday, March 24th we will host Gay Eckberg for a book signing from Noon – 2 PM.  Gay’s husband, Gordon, actually wrote the book but died within a few days of its completion.  It is an interesting autobiography covering his life experiences from living through the Dust Bowl, the Great Depression and on through 2017.  The book is titled Between the Cattails & the Bullrushes; it has been well received and enjoyed by many readers.  Copies are available in the store now.

All of our games will be discounted 20% from March 1st to the 15th.  Sometimes after a long winter, a new diversion / entertainment for the kids or family is welcome — why not try out a new game?
