Congratulations to Diane Lukes of Alexandria!
Diane said that she has never won anything ever. She went on to say that her mother had passed away this past June. She had been wanting a ring for a long time that would complete her wedding ring to have a set and thought that would be the perfect thing in honor of her mother’s memory this year. She went to Diekman’s and could not believe that in less than 30 minutes of looking she found and purchased the perfect ring to fit with her rather unusual wedding ring. She held up all the grand prize winning certificates and smiled and said how special this was and such a surprise and like an affirmation …an extra gift as if from her mother. She was visibly touched. She also said that when her sister saw her ring she said, “That looks just like mother’s ring!”. As she walked out the back door she said, “You know we really miss our mother; she was ony 71.”
