Downtown Merchants Association - March 2010 Newslettter

Please join us on Friday, March 26 at 8am at Raapers Sports Bar & Grill for our monthly General Membership Meeting.

A representative from the Food Shelf will be our speaker. March is "Food Share Month" and so we are encouraging our members to bring items for the Food Shelf to the meeting!

We will also be discussing our monthly general membership meeting location.

We welcome Rhonda Pooler of Crooked Willow to the board of directors! We will have an election at our general membership meeting on March 26 to officially elect Rhonda. 

The flower basket project is under way. We plan to get all sponsors signed up by the end of April. We are shooting for May 20th to put up the flowers. Volunteers will be needed, thank you! Sandy Sailor of Viking Office Supply and Sandy's daughter will be in charge of watering the flowers this year.

We are currently looking into acquiring a decorative clock for the downtown. Contact Mike Schreiner if you have questions or comments, or come to the membership meeting on Friday!

Awake the Lakes, May 26 - 30, the downtown will be having sidewalk sales. Please come to the meeting to hear more! 

The April General Membership meeting is scheduled for April 23.
