Travelers Inn is Alexandria’s oldest eating establishment dating back to 1924. Through the years Travelers Inn has grown exponentially. From a small kitchen restaurant to the bustling brunch spot it is today. Ben and Helen Sieve purchased Travelers Inn in 1967 and their sons, Jon and Kurt, assumed control in 1972. It was remodeled in 1979, expanded and remodeled in 1985, given a facelift in 1990 and finally in 1996, a major remodel and expansion into the original 1924 building.

Care was given to preserve the original metal stamped ceilings dating back to the 1800’s when the building was built. In 2014, Travelers Inn transitioned into it’s 3rd generation when Patrick assumed control. Since then, Travelers Inn has, again, changed with the ever changing times.

New menu items such as Breakfast Totchos, Pesto Scrambles and Breakfast Quesadillas have found their place on the menu accompanied by the very best of the classics. Travelers Inn Restaurant prides itself on using some of the highest quality ingredients at affordable price to their customers. Going forward, Travelers Inn will continue to emphasize quality food and exceptional service in a dinning environment that reflects its historic past and an eye to the future.
